The life a student was cut short at Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri, Imo State, South-East Nigeria. The lifeless body of the student was discovered, close to the college gate yesterday
night. As at the time of this report, unconfirmed sources reviled that the deceased was a 300 level Computer Science Student by the name Joseph Caleb.
At the moment, it has not been confirmed if he was shut as a result of cult related activities or for other reasons. However, the torn shirt of the deceased suggests that he struggled with his attacker/s before he was shut. Students are encouraged to be safety conscious, avoid moving around at night, as well as say No to Cultism and Drug Abuse. May he Rest in Peace.
